Renovation Update May 24, 2021

At the well-attended quarterly meeting of Hope Lutheran Church on May 10th, the Voters unanimously approved moving ahead with the Sanctuary and Narthex Renovation Project.  The voice vote was followed by a round of applause and excitement as the congregation embarks on the project.

“The several informational meetings provided useful information and feedback to the committee as well as answering many questions,” said one member.   The overall cost of the project is $750,000, of which $500,000 has been given or pledged.    Following the vote, Dan Joseph, Church Council president said, “I am so proud to be a member of this congregation and equally amazed at what we can accomplish.” Dan asked the renovation committee members to stand and be thanked.

he project will begin in June and continue to October, as was pointed out at the informational meetings.  The Board of Elders is recommending continuing our current worship times and formats, while worshipping in the fellowship hall.

Gifts and / or pledges can still be made in honor or in memory of a loved one.  Sanctuary and Narthex Renovation Project pledge forms and envelopes are available in the narthex. Members may support the project online at ifeathope.org/give and donate to the Building Fund.

Be sure to visit the Renovation Project website page for an overview of the project and as well as links to the project informational brochure, pledge form and online building fund donation web page.

The Sanctuary and Narthex Renovation Project demonstrates the strength and commitment of our congregation. It will be a showcase of God’s Grace to all who enter our church.
