We'll only meet once
in February on the 28th from
9:00-10:00 a.m. in the Cafe Corner.
Nursery care is provided. We
use scripture to pray for our kids,
you might want to pray this for your
loved ones, too, using Titus 3:2:
"May ___________ learn to speak evil
of no one, to avoid quarreling, to
be gentle and to show perfect
courtesy toward all people." |
|
We meet the 1st and 3rd Mondays at
9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. in the
Discipleship Pastor's Office. In
February we will meet on the 6th and
20th.
There are three
possible answers to any prayer we
pray. God can say: 1) "Wait.
There are things that you cannot
know. Be still and trust Me."
2) "Of course. I have heard
your prayer and the answer is
already on the way." or 3) "No. My
purposes are larger than what you
are currently seeing." To
pray, "Your will be done on earth as
it is in heaven" is to accept all
three possible answers in our lives
of faith. Join us as we pray. |

Hope Lutheran's
Prayer Shawl Ministry began in
January 2004. It combines
praying with knitting or crocheting
as you make beautiful prayer shawls
for those who need healing, strength
and courage in their life and/or for
those who care for them. There
is no specific age requirement for
those in need. Prayer shawls
are made with different patterns and
styles. After a
prayer shawl is completed, it can be
brought to the church office with
your name and phone number attached.
All prayer shawls are blessed by
pastor before they are given (with a
prayer card) to those in need.
