Hope Ladies Guild |

Are Senior
Programs Available for Me?
You'll hear all about
programs for seniors at the Ladies
Guild meeting on Thursday, February
9, at 1:30 p.m. in the Fellowship
Hall. Our guest speaker will
be Lori Anderson from the Department
of Social Services. She will
inform us of programs available for
seniors, including caregiver
services. Mites will be
collected to further our mission
projects, followed by the business
meeting. All interested women
are invited to join us!
Young Women's
Retreat
The beautiful Crowne Plaza Hotel in
Madison will be the setting of the
2012 Young Women's Retreat under the
theme "Love Holds Us Together."
Plan now to attend February 3 and
4. Dr. Mary Hilgendorf will be our
keynote speaker, Alan Lull will
provide a breakout session and we
will be blessed by the music
ministry of Brent and Kim Wagner.
Women of all ages are invited and
encouraged to attend! Additional information and

We invite all the men of Hope to
join us for an evening of fellowship
on Tuesday, February 21, at 6:00
p.m. in the Fellowship Hall for Tom
Gendron's Famous Fish Fry.

Soup and
Sing-Along Luncheon
It's time to sign up for the
Thursday, February 16, Soup
and Sing-Along Luncheon to be held
in the Fellowship Hall here at
Hope. A sign-up sheet will be
posted in the narthex or you may
call Carol Shields (922-9012) or
Sylvia Dittman (921-2237). It will
be necessary to register in advance
so that we know how much food to
prepare. Delicious soups will be
served along with garlic bread and
dessert. Dale Luther will lead us
in a sing-along of your favorite
hymns and old-time songs. Cost of
the luncheon will be $6 and can be
paid at the door.
Gospel Singers
"The Hoppers"
On March 17 we will travel via bus
to Sheboygan to visit the Stephanie
Weill Theater for an afternoon
performance of the well known Gospel
singers, The Hoppers. Lunch will be
at the Brisco County Wood Grill
Restaurant. Reservations will be
taken beginning January 14 in the
narthex after services. Cost of
this outing will be $45 which
includes the bus ride, lunch and the
show (checks made out to John
Gessner). Only 55 people will be
able to attend and it will be based
on a first-come-first-served basis.
No refunds will be available though
you may sell your tickets to others
if you are unable to attend.
