Tag & Broomball
Wednesday, February 15
6:00-8:00 p.m.
Junior and Senior Leaguers can join us on Wednesday,
February 15, for flashlight tag,
broomball, hot chocolate and a
bonfire at the Birschbach's.
We will carpool from the church at
6:00 p.m. and return about 8:00 p.m.
Adults are also welcome! Sign
up on the Youth Bulletin Board in
the Narthex.

Snowshoeing @
Ledge View Nature Center
Saturday, February 18 - 8:30 a.m. to
1:00p.m.
On Saturday, February 18,
from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. our 6th,
7th and 8th grade Junior Leaguers
will be snow-shoeing at Ledge View
Nature Center in Calumet County.
The cost for renting snowshoes is
$4.00. Our students, along with
their friends and family, will learn
the history of snowshoes, the
different kinds of snowshoes, how
some plants and animals deal with
winter and how to walk and navigate
obstacles in snowshoes.
Snowshoeing is a cool way to
discover that the world is not dead
in winter. Students may sign up in
their classroom. Parents who
would be willing to drive should
contact Beth Kettner at
childrensministries@lifeathope.org.

Pizza Fundraiser
February 25-March 11
Here is a great opportunity
to earn money for the mission trip
or any other event you may want to
go on. We will be selling
pizzas from February 25 through
March 11. Please pick up an
order form in the Narthex.
Orders and money must be turned into
the church office or narthex no
later than Sunday, March 11, so
supplies can be ordered.
On Saturday, March 17,
starting at 8:00 a.m. the youth will
be making the pizzas in the
Fellowship Hall. We will need
lots of help making the pizzas, so
we ask that anyone selling the
pizzas would also help make them.
Don't forget to bring a hat or one
will be provided for you. |

Mission Trip
June 22-July 1, 2012
Did
you know that this year’s 8th
graders can sign up for the 2012
Mission Trip?
The group going on this year’s
mission trip will meet once a month
to have a team building and Bible
study activity. We will meet on
Saturday, February 25, from
4:00-5:00 p.m. If you cannot make a
meeting you will need to contact
Dean Birschbach (579-4554) to set up
an alternate date to do a make up
Bible study. These meetings are
required for everyone going on the
trip. |
